Customer:
Mr. machindra balasabed sanap
Project Category:
solar rooftop
Customer Requirement:
The client required a 5 kW on-grid solar rooftop system to reduce their monthly electricity expenses and achieve near-zero electricity bills through solar power generation and net metering. The objective was to utilize available rooftop space effectively and adopt a clean, reliable, and cost-effective renewable energy solution.
Project Result:
The 5 kW on-grid solar rooftop system was successfully installed and commissioned. The system is generating clean renewable energy and significantly reducing the client's dependence on grid electricity. As a result, the client's monthly electricity bill has been reduced substantially, with the potential to achieve near-zero electricity charges through net metering. The project also contributes to long-term cost savings and environmental sustainability.
What we did:
We designed, supplied, and installed a 5 kW on-grid solar rooftop system, including solar panels, inverter, mounting structure, earthing, cabling, and safety equipment. The system was tested, commissioned, and connected to the grid with net-metering support, enabling the client to significantly reduce electricity costs.
Project Description
**Work Description – 5 kW On-Grid Solar Rooftop System** Design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a **5 kW On-Grid Solar Rooftop Power Plant** complete with high-efficiency solar PV modules, on-grid string inverter, module mounting structure, DC and AC cables, earthing system, lightning protection, AC/DC distribution boxes, safety accessories, and all associated electrical works. The scope of work includes site survey, system design, supply of materials, installation of solar modules on the rooftop, inverter installation, electrical interconnection, testing, commissioning, net-metering support, and synchronization with the utility grid as per applicable standards and DISCOM regulations. The system shall generate electricity from solar energy for captive consumption, with excess power exported to the utility grid through net metering. The installation shall be carried out in accordance with MNRE guidelines, applicable electrical standards, and local DISCOM requirements.
